The 2018 La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion is soft, fruity and easygoing, just as it was en primeur. Sweet floral notes, spice and sweet oak lend pretty bright accents. On the palate, the 2018 remains a bit light and not fully developed. Overall, the 2018 comes across as a touch narrow in build and lacking persistence. [Antonio Galloni, 29/03/2021]
