Vinous – 94
The 2018 Meursault Charmes 1er Cru has quite an intense, well-defined nose, with touches of fennel and garrigues infusing the citrus fruit. Just a hint of melon surfaces with time. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, somehow, a little conservative compared to its peers. However, there is fine salinity and it seems to linger long on the finish. Very fine – Charmes with charm. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting.
